Tom Muccio retired from a 34 year career with Procter & Gamble as President of Global Customer Teams at the end of 2003. Tom has had a variety of sales and marketing assignments in both the U.S. and Internationally. Since 1987, Tom was the founder and Team Leader for Procter & Gamble’s much publicized relationship with Wal-Mart. During his leadership, Procter & Gamble sales to Wal-Mart increased from $350 million to $8 billion and both companies have prospered greatly because of the relationship.
In recent years, Tom has consulted for a variety of domestic and global market leading companies. Tom was also the Founder/CEO of BioBased Family of Companies. These companies develop and manufacture a variety of breakthrough environmentally friendly products and ingredients. Tom also serves on the board of The Ken Blanchard Companies, Cardone Industries, International Christian Missions, Teen Mania Ministries, and the Lead Like Jesus Board. Tom is also the Executive Director of Compassion Ministries (a residential home for pregnant teens). Tom is married and has two children and seven grandchildren.
